It was my first gun. Internals are tough as nails, not perfect, but tough. They will take a beating, and if this is your first gun, that's a very good quality to have. It's also pretty accurate and strong for its price, I would get a better battery for it though. And a decent charger. But it is well worth the money in my opinion
I don't think anyone makes one, but I'm pretty sure that if it did succeed in spinning the bb,it would curve in all directions, just like a hop up spins a bb in one direction, except it'd be going in all directions
The madbull would be your best bet,and stick with the 6.03. Any smaller and you have to clean it more regularly and a slight defect in a bb will destroy your gun
It all depends on the money you want to spend on it, and how hard you want this gun to shoot. If your money is unlimited, get good gears, a nylon fiber piston with a few teeth metal, a good motor (I'm not the expert on motors so if you want a brand name I can't help you there) and a good lipo stick battery. this will significantly increase your rof. If you don't quite have the budget for that then just get a better motor. The internals are metal so they should be able to take things a little faster
Yes,different guns hold different motor sizes.Like a G36c holds a short type.Other guns hold different lengths, but I'm pretty sure it's because that's what fits.If your motor is too long your sunk. But you want the longest type motor possible so it's stronger
The tightbore barrel will increase accuracy and fps,and the madbull python barrrels are the best.Id recommend a 6.02 or 6.03.the smaller you go the more accurate and the better fps,but the more you have to clean them.keep that in mind
I took my gun apart, the biggest issue i had was loosing the springs.Just clear an area on your workbench, and charge in there. It's cool figuring out how your gun works for yourself
Higher voltage just gives you more power. You seem to be lacking the mah.Or basically how long your battery will last. This is assuming everything else is working
My first gun was a JG G36C.And I loved it.It only shot 350 fps out of the box,but I put an m120 spring in there and a better battery and its beast. And it's very cheap.I saw it somewhere on amazon i think for like 110.Comes with a hi-cap magazine (350 shots) and a battery and a useless charger. The only problems I've had is that sometimes parts for it can be a bit challenging to find. But yeah,it also comes with a 6.05 barrel, which is decent.GREAT GUN!!!!!!! I love it
Id go with an m115 or an m120 personally. The m120 boosted my fps to around 400.But if you can't afford to go over an m115 should be safe, and your gun can pull that fine
Go with the 1.8 amps and charge it.after it says it fully charged hook a volt meter up to it.Make sure the volt meter is in DC and see what voltage is coming out of it.If its below 9.6 volts you could have a couple problems. The charger may be defective, the battery could have a bad cell,or best case scenario its not making good connection when its charging.
Make sure the hop up is all the way up and shoot. If it shoots but not fast or far,it could mean that the hop up/ barrel unit isnt meshing well with the gearbox. This is easy to have happen.Just take it back apart and make sure the nozzle pushes the bb all the way up to the hop up.If it does and you still get no decent results, drop a bb in the other way.It could be that the barrel is to small for the bbs your using. This is a very likely thing to happen if you use wal-mart bbs.
The fuse just burns out if the battery spikes.Or has a very high voltage for an instant. The wires suck? The better wires you get the less resistance they are going to have, which means more currant will be flowing through.Meaning everything is going to get more voltage.Including the fuse. You might have to up the fuse size by a few amps.A few amps should not make a life or death difference to your gun.just go with something NO MORE THEN 5 AMPS above what you have. And do not by-pass the fuse!
It depends on how powerful of a spring your using. If your using an m120 or under a polycarb should be fine.Anything above that will need something stronger.A full aluminum piston isn't really worth the weight until you get up into the m140s or above in my opinion
You can spend any amount of money upgrading a gun.I would recommend getting a tight bore barrel, a stronger spring,m120 is the best spring you can get without having to upgrade your entire gearbox. It will raise your fps to around 400 with .25grams (or atleast it did in my g36c).Also,you can get a 9.6volt so it can push that spring better. That brings us to a grand total of around 55-80 dollars. And another little thing to,if you buy a metal air nozzle it will increase your fps as well.
Lipos get warmer then nickel medal hydride batteries do.And a lithium ion charger will be fine. They get warmer because they have more power.Which means more internal resistance. The resistance is given off in heat.Hence why the battery gets warm
You need to be more specific. How long will it last as in how many shoots before it dies? or lifespan of a battery? How long it will last depends on the mah,or milli amp hours.basically mah is like the gas can of a battery.I'm assuming its stock,in which case it will be probably 1200mah or 1400mah.That means it can put out 1200 or 1400 milli amps for an hour.So you also need to know how much current your motor is drawing.Once you figure that out in milli amps, you can do the math to figure out exactly how long your battery will last. You can figure the voltage out by taking a voltmeter, setting it on amps, and hooking it up to the bottom of the motor (should be an easy access hole in the bottom of grip) red is positive, black is negative.once you do that hold the trigger down.Take the answer you got and divide the batteries mah by your answer.Sorry so long, but hope this helped!
I have this gun and love it.I've had it since last may or so and its still going strong. It was also my very first gun.I found it very easy to take apart and figure out the internals. The gears are metal, and in my opinion is a great first gun.Was for me atleast
I happen to have this gun.i put an m120 spring inside,a lipo battery (yes I no it was stupid, but its shot 5000 shots no problems) and I use .25s because they're the most accurate and they pack the biggest punch.with the m120 spring i have in there it fires .20s at 453 fps,and .25s at 400 fps.I would NOT put the lipo battery in yours just because 95% of people are going to say not to,so go with the 9.6 volt, that should pull over an m120 spring no problem. If your going to keep it all stock (no internal upgrades) go with .23s.You'll get the best fps for accuracy, because i believe mine shot 345 fps (.2 gram bbs) stock, which means the .23s will loose a little fps,but you'll get more accuracy,as apposed to .25s,where you will loose alot of fps with only a little gain at those fps's
You know you are safe if you charge a battery at 1/10 C.that is,capacity.so 1 C for you would be 1200 ma (mili amps).that means itd completly charge in an hour, but scrap your battery.I would go with the 300 mah because that would be 1/4 C and thats safe for most batteries.Only the really good batteries can charge at .5C or more, which is what 600 ma would be for yours. It will take 4 hours to charge at 1/4 C by the way,so its not that long anyways
i would not get this gun.for a couple reasons:
1) its crosman
2) its a pistol (not very accurate)
3) you can go 2 airsplat, look in the spring airsoft rifles, and buy sumthing with like 300-400 fps (i think the best one is an xm8 that shoots about 390fps) and you can buy a gun like that for just a little more money
well if it fits go for it.keep in mind tho u got another cell in the 9.6 volt that means its gona take more room.id consider putting in a lipo battery, theyre the best.id let sumone else correct me if im wrong about the lipo tho, cuse not every gun is lipo rede.but if u have room,a 9.6 should be safe
Ive never used it,but it has good reviews as a cqb gun.It is a galaxy mp5k.I would get a better battery for it,and it shoots around 330fps,(so the specs say...)
I've never had any problems with them.I've ordered 3 guns from them and they've turned out fine.I have never had any problems with them.Maybe they've changed hands recently? Because I'm kinda new to all this, but I've never experienced any horror story's like everyone talks about.I could have just gotten lucky though.......
I have one of these guns, and I put a lipo in it.Lipos are smaller, and more powerful. So far its worked fine in my gun.I've fired probably 5000 shots through it and it's still working like a charm.I always suggest airsplat.com ,because they have good stuff there, and again, check out airsplat.they have good batteries there and thats where I got mine.Just make sure you check the dimensions, there are many different sizes!
I put an answer earlier to this question, but i did'nt really answer your question. It depends on the dimensions on the battery. It's going to have one more cell so it might not work. And btw,if you decide to go with a lipo, make sure your gun can handle it.My gun has upgraded parts,so its fine, but I don't know how it will work in yours
Yes,different guns hold different motor sizes.Like a G36c holds a short type.Other guns hold different lengths, but I'm pretty sure it's because that's what fits.If your motor is too long your sunk. But you want the longest type motor possible so it's stronger
