I am getting into the sport, and I will be playing some CQB, but mostly field. Because of this I decided to go with .25 BBs. I have been looking around and the two BBs stand out to me. The Airsoft Elite bios: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=27_44_193&products_id=3938, and the Biovals: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=27_44_193&products_id=7799. The Airsoft Elites have a very good reputation, but they are kind of expensive. The Biovals don't have as big of a reputation, but I have heard very good things about them. Not to mention, the Biovals are roughly $4.75 per 1000 BBs, while the Airsoft Elite are roughly $5.33 per 1000 BBs. Which one would be a better choice?

i really want an f2000 but i have been looking at reviews of the g&g f2000 and there are a lot of problems with it from what i can see. And if i spend around $350 i dont want there to be any problems for a while if i buy a gun for that much. so i came to the jls f2000 and looked up reviews for it and i saw that owners of that gun seem to be very pleased with it. I have just gotten the Umarex/S&T G36KV and there is a problem with semi-auto function (and maybe full auto as well but still need to investigate further). It seems to only wind the gears about a third of the way before giving up and not completing the full cycle. It can take several trigger pulls in order for it to complete the cycle (grinding my teeth). I cant express my dismay as this is how I received the gun. It doesnt do this all the time but most of the time. Some of the trigger pulls work flawlessly leading me to believe that something might be slipping out of place every now and then. I have also noticed that on full auto the odd BB will kind of spew out falling FAR short of the usual ranges. PS: Once I get the gun working I will be doing a review and comparison of both the Ares and S&T versions of the G36.

I have a Dboys M16A4. I put a 6.03 tightbore in it, a new hop up system, a high speed motor, and I use a 1600 mah 9.6 volt battery. Full auto works perfect but being as the M16A4 is a DMR I want to use semi auto more. When I shoot on semi it only allows me to shoot between half second intervals if I try to shoot faster the gearbox locks up. I guess because the gears are not turning fast enough. I want to shoot on semi as fast as I can pull the trigger like KWA M16s. What do I need to be able to shoot semi as fast as I can pull the trigger and how do I do it?

First, I apologize for what I'm sure is a repeat question. But I'm looking to get good bio BBs, and I want to buy decent ones at a low cost. I want to get Biovals but they're expensive and rare. I've heard a couple places that the outside of King Arms Bios rub off in the barrel; that's not cool since I'll probably be getting a tight-bore. Air Venturi and TSD don't seem very high quality - are they? Are the Goldenball bios any good? I've heard the G&Gs are but they're only 90% bio, is there anywhere I can find them cheap? Thanks!

I purchased 3 vest from airsoft club on Dec 12. On the 15 it reached US soil and from the 15- until now my tracking has told me pending customs inspection. Okay now it's 23rd and it still says pending customs inspection. Not it all my years and thousands of dollars of airsoft equipment I purchased, this has never happened to me. But this is the first time I have used airsoft club. As you can see I am a bit angry because I paid over 120$!!!! For express shipping so it would get here before Christmas and now I am sh*t out of luck. Has anyone had experience with this and when should I get worried that I got chipped out of 300$. I called customs and they said as well, "you are sh*t out of luck."

Hello Fellow Airsofters, (skip to bottom if lazy reader ;D) I have an Umarex G36KV EBB on the way (with grenade launcher - words cannot express my excitement!!) and was wondering what battery I should get in order to satisfy my personal preferences. I'm not all that concerned with the rate of fire, around 600 rpm will suit me just fine (as this is close to the "real steels" RoF), rather, I am more concerned with battery life as I intend on NOT disabling the guns EBB function. I'm guessing this would lead to a much faster battery life consumption rate so I would need a battery that would be able to last some time without any major loss of RoF. There are no decent reviews on the gun but I suspect it would be very close to the earlier Umarex/Ares G36K (NOT S&T Armament) in terms of the forward receiver and battery space. I would also be willing to make use of a PEQ or just some plain old tape if it was advised. So, in a nutshell: ============= - Battery must be able to last for an entire days play with EBB function enabled - ROF around 600 to 800 - No modding that requires cutting of plastics - Will consider using PEQ or tape for external mounting of battery but would prefer to have it in the forward receiver - NihM or Lipo depends on your imput Thank Very Much, SamuraiZack

I bought a new 2nd generation javelin full metal m4 and javelin has really stepped up. Since your review the internals and performance has been vastly improved. I put a G&P high speed motor into my G&G raider, and the battery life used to be pretty good up until this motor. Does the motor just consume more battery power because of the ROF? I finally got my G4-a3 fixed by another tech, and the gun functioned just fine. However, halfway into a skirmish which I had the next day, the magazine stopped feeding after several bursts on full auto (first time that I shot it on full auto since I had it repared). The gearbox started making a grinding noise as if the gears were not shimmed properly, and now the gun doesnt feed any magazines at all. Does anybody know what the heck is wrong with my gun? (I suspect it may have to do with the position of the hop-up unit.) Keep in mind that I have had zero problems with this gun before I had the spring upgraded. The techs that I prought the gun to are notorious for often doing a crappy job, but I was stupid enought to trust that they would do a good job on my gun. I also havent had any of the common trigger issues that many people are having with their guns now.

So i was shooting my G&G GR15 Raider and nothing would come out of the gun. All sounded fine with the shooting just no BB's coming out. So than i look at the receiver (or the place where the gun goes into the mag whatever its called) and inside where the BB's are supposed to be (on the gun itself not the mag) i see something green thats blocking the way... almost like a balloon or rubber-band looking object. I cannot get it out with my hands so after awhile of fishing i get it out with a needle nose plier (i was delicate and didn't scratch anything.) So after i get this thing out its basically this green cylinder rubbery object. To this point i have no clue what it is. So i get that part out (i can describe the object a little bit more if needed) and the gun fires a BB now but its shooting the BBs not far at all. Its literally shooting 10 yards away. Is this gun completely messed up or what? I am very light with this never used it really that much. Anyone know what the heck is going on?

I have a Combat Machine M4, brand new, and it works as far as I can tell but when I pull the trigger with the battery out, something in the box sticks (its easier to pull the next time and feels different, like I'm just pulling the trigger and not whatever the trigger is pulling). If I give the reciever a nice hard smack when the trigger is doing that it pops back into place with a click. When the whatever it is is stuck and I put the battery in, it fires one shot and it works fine from there. What worrys me is this is a new gun and this could forshadow problems to come. Is this just a matter of something not being lubed right from the factory or what?

It is a highcap 300 round mag. When I fill it up with bb's and start winding the wheel for some reason the wheel slips and most of the bb's that were fed into the chamber are pushed out again.I can never get that double clicking sound when winding the wheel and so I have to constantly wind it to keep at least some bb,s in the chamber. This is very frustrating and I don't know if I should try to take apart the mag or simply buy a new one?

I am not happy with my current gun, so I want to get either the G&P MOE Carbine, the G&P MOE CQB, or the King Arms/ Colt MOE Carbine. I just got my new gun yesterday. It is a G&G Chione 16. I know a lot about airsoft but I can't seem to find the problem. I bought an intellect 9.6v 2000mah battery with. When i got it I plugged it into my smart charger. When the light turned green I plugged the battery into the gun and it didn't even last half a mag. At first i thought it was the gun jamming, but then I charged it again and it lasts about a full mag. Should I keep charging it and see what happens or is it the gun?

This CA M15A4 Sportline hates me. Took it to a game yesterday and used my pistol more than this gun. After "unlocking" the gearbox getting it to work, it now shoots two BBs at a time 50% of the time and it sounds like the spring is decompressing after full auto fire. It is also inaccurate but it is predictable. I honestly can't figure out what is wrong at this point. I triple checked to make sure every piece was fine and everything was aligned and put together properly. Compression is good, gears are in place, and every piece is usable. What else can be wrong? Anti-Reversal Latch is fine. I have searched, compared pictures, checked everything and it is all good.
