why do airsoft fields allow 10 year olds to play?

This year I've noticed a huge increase in cheating! I'm sniping all these little kids and seeing the bb bounce off of their masks through the scope and they just turn and stare. I hit them over and over and they don't call out until a ref sees them get hit! I'm tired of bad sportsmanship and it's ruining the game. Someone give me a reason! I know there are some honest players at that age but lately I've seen zero.

Airsoft is for all ages. Best thing to do is pull your dead rag and walk over and tell them how the game is supposed to be played. At Cane Creek we allow kids 8 an up and never have a problem.

Couldn't have worded it any better than CrazyNCman. Besides... I'd rather have a little kid cheating than an arrogant middle-aged man waving around a $4,000 setup and bitching that he lost because everybody else cheated or ganged up on him.

Little kids can be taught, at least. That's the upside of your predicament.

Hey I know what you feel but you really shouldn't be stereotyping. These kids want to play and have the right to, I myself know this well being 14 and just getting into airsoft now. Try to see if you can get the rules switched so that if more than two offenses happen a day they will have to leave. Don't just try to get it so they can't play. And if you really want, get as close as you are allowed to with your sniper and hit them in any uncovered spot. That oughta teach em' a lesson.
