My SCAR is only shooting in full auto

when ever i put my AGM SCAR into semi it only shoots full auto, so how do i fix this. i have made my SCAR into an awesome DMR but the full auto is getting annoying. so is my cut off lever broke or is my selector plate broke, or is it a wiring issue. and if its my selector plate can i put a normal M4 style selector plat on my gear box or do i have to buy a SCAR style.
